Usually I have something clever to say when a right-winger makes terrible victim-blaming statements like this, but Donald Trump has rendered me silent with astonishment. Sexual assaults in the military… are the fault of… the women who wanted to be in the military and the leaders who allowed them to do that? Because all men are just rapists waiting for an opportunity? Sexual assault is inevitable when men and women are together… so women are the ones who should have to leave? WHAT IN THE ACTUAL FUCK. Remember when Fuckface von Clownstick thought he could be president? Donald Trump is the best argument against capitalism out there.

Ted Cruz, the newest senator from Texas, said today that he’s voting against Obama’s nomination of John Kerry for Secretary of State and Chuck Hagel for Secretary of Defense because they are both “less than ardent fans of the U.S. military.” Both served in Vietnam, where Hagel received two Purple Hearts and Kerry received a Silver Star, a Bronze Star and three Purple Hearts.
Cruz has never served in the military.

In 2008, the people of Iceland forced their prime minister and his whole government to resign. Next, they nationalized the banks & opted not to pay back the fake debt created by foreign bankers. Next, they created a public assembly to rewrite their constitution. And all of this in a peaceful way.
The people of Iceland have proven to the world that there is a way to dismantle the system while preserving peace & democracy.
